Chartering of Handymax to Capesize bulk carriers

Jaldhi charters about 50 vessels under its disponent ownership at any point of time, ranging from Handy size to large Capes size vessels.

Jaldhi is the largest Iron Ore Vessel Charterer on the India-China Route as well as a substantial charterer in Far East – India, West Africa – India routes.

Since Jaldhi’s establishment in 2004

• Vessels under Disponent Ownership have cumulatively grown to over 1212 Vessels.
• Tonnage under Disponent Ownership have cumulatively grown to over 71 Million DWT.

In 2011 alone, Jaldhi chartered 298 vessels with cumulative tonnage of 17.6 Million DWT.

Jaldhi has also been able to offer Contract of Affreightment to suit specific customer needs.

New Vistas

Jaldhi has expanded its manpower to explore & invest in new trade routes like Brazil to China (Iron ore and Manganese Ore), Australia to India (Coal), Fertilizer trade inbound to India.

Jaldhi has a presence in Beijing, PRC since September 2009 to better serve Mainland Chinese Clients.

Office has also been set up in Indonesia for its Floating Terminal operations as well as to offer end to end logistics services from Indonesia to India /China for its customers. We are in the process of establishing two dedicated Coal Loading River terminals in Jambi area in Batang Hari River System. The infrastructure will be able to carry over 2 MMTPA coal to the Mother Vessel at M. Sabak loading point. Custom Built Floating Crane for offshore loading of Coal is being provided for anchorage loading of Mother Vessel. The terminal and the river transport system shall be operational in 2013. We are also in the process of establishing coal loading facilities in Samarinda , Balikpapan areas.

Operational Establishments are also being set up in the African Continent and Latin America.

Vessel Agency

Vessel agency is an operation that goes truly 24X7. A smooth and fast turnaround of the vessel in the Port holds paramount importance to us. We go about this with precision.

Vessel Agency operations are undertaken at the Ports of Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Paradeep, Haldia, Kolkata, and Krishnapatnam. At other ports on East and West Coast of India we work through our close associates and offer Agency services at any of the Indian Ports.

Terminal Operations

Coal Terminal, Kakinada, India

By an arrangement with the Port Authorities, Kakinada Seaports Ltd, Bothra Group is in the process of establishing a 8 Million MT per annum Coal Terminal at Kakinada Deep Water Port Coal Terminal (KDWPCT) on the Design, Build, Commission and Operate (DBCO) basis.

The terminal will be operational in first quarter of 2013.It would be capable of unloading from vessel up to about 40,000 MT/day and also have Direct Loading Facility from the Vessel to Rake The KDWPCT will have a mechanized Coal Blending System; probably the first such system to be available in East Coast of India Ports.

Fertiliser Terminal, Kakinada, India

Bothra Group is also establishing a 6 Million MT per annum of Fertilizer Terminal- “Kakinada Deep Water Port Fertilizer Terminal” (KDWPFT) The highlight of the terminal feature would be a warehousing complex of 400,000 m3 of fertilizer storage, 1600 TPH bagging system and a fully enclosed rail siding for weather proof train dispatch of fertilizers.The KDWPFT is slated to be operational by the end of 2013.
